Making a handcrafted shoe means coordinating different skills in a precise process, made up of listening, experience and vision. At Gissy, each phase is internal, shared and carefully supervised: this allows us to follow the customer step by step, transforming an idea into a finished product with attention to every detail.
Product Development
From the study of shapes to the selection of materials, we accompany the client through all the initial stages of the project. We assess stylistic and technical needs, identify the most suitable form, and select leathers and components consistent with the concept of the collection.
Prototyping
We make prototypes true to the agreed design and specifications. Each prototype is tested for fit, material tightness, and aesthetics, with opportunities for quick modifications and optimizations before production.
Production
We manage all processing stages in-house: cutting, hemming, assembling, finishing. Production is artisanal but structured, with timely control over each step and an ability to adapt to different scale requirements.
Quality control
Effwe carry out quality checks on the line and at the end of the production cycle, according to strict technical parameters. Each shoe is checked individually to ensure aesthetic and functional conformity, before packaging and delivery.
